We went to an event at the downtown library called Story Town. There were several booths with crafts to do, face-painting, “fishing,” book walk (like a cake walk), story-book readings, etc.
Alice understood quite well that it was actually a man wearing a Curious George costume, since we just had Halloween.

Sue inspired me to get Alice some Playdo and she is loving it! Now when Ender is down for his morning nap she actually asks to play with playdo sometimes instead of watching Curious George! She still needs a little help rolling out the dough… I’m trying to teach her to just pound it out flat with her hands

Now that Ender is doing better about not putting everything in his mouth I am letting him crawl around outside and not worrying about being within 2 feet of him the whole time. He is loving it!
I have also started letting Alice go outside on her own, which is really helping our days be a little easier. For some reason, when she is inside she wants me to play with her all the time, but when she is outside she usually plays well on her own.

Today Rosie had a tea party for her birthday in our backyard. It was lots of fun! The kids helped decorate, and there was lots of yummy food. At one point towards the end of the morning they decided to take all of the balloons into Alice’s playhouse. Eight kids plus a lot of balloons is a tight fit in there!
I didn’t take any pictures this morning, but here are some from about a month ago when Rosie was over at our house.
